Stop abusing me!

I know I can hear your hair now screaming ‘stop abusing me’. Your poor hair has been straightened, coloured and not regularly cut. Look at the ends of the hair. Could they look better? I have just returned from the Wella Academy in which I am doing a Wella Master Colour Programme. We were shown microscopic pictures on the hair. Some where of ‘happy hair’ and other were of ‘VERY unhappy hair’. The pictures of the unhappy hair really did look like a piece of rope that had either burned or frayed. We were gobsmaked!!!! If you want lovely long hair then you really must give it some love. Maybe you could use a heat straightening product or just straighten it when you are going out. Stop home colouring it because the ends are being coloured too often, causing damage. Have your hair cut between 6 and 10 weeks. We are not scissor happy at Nevaeh Hair, so all the effort you have put in to growing wont get cut off!!!! Call now for an appointment or just pop in for advice 02392 756700. Hello hair lovers.

I am happy to announce that I have passed my Colour Theory Exam to be a Wella Master Colour Expert. I wont deny that it was very stressful, but worth it. We had a great morning with Bruno and Becky from Mark Antoni Salons which really did inspire me to think a little more out of the box. They were very helpful with questions we had and I’m going to be following their work!

Watching them made me feel confident in the knowledge that I do like to come up with different looks and ideas and that you don’t have to have won Hairdresser of the year to be good Hairdresser. If you are looking for some inspiration for your hair then call 02392 756 700 or pop in for a chat.

Do not try this at home

At Nevaeh Hair we are really seeing a rise in people colouring their hair at home. I can understand that in a credit crunch we all want to save money but those who are trying to change their hair Colour enevitably end up paying more in the long run.
To go from blonde to dark and vise versa takes us years of training. On my Wella Colour Degree the science behind it is mind blowing. I would like to stress that if you do want to colour your hair at home then you should carry out the manufactures guidelines and have a skin test first, you really dont want to look like Elephants Man!
We at Nevaeh Hair always carry out a skin test 48 hours prior to your appointment, not only is this Wella guidlines but it also gives you ( and us) peace of mind!

Hello All!!!

Bekki has just returned from time spent at the Wella Colour Academy in London. The Course is a Wella Colour Master Programme, in other words a colour degree which is only available for experienced Hairdressers.. The training so far has been great for our clients because we can put into practice the training, mainly doing Colour Corrections. Brilliant salon where you get exactly what you ask for. The team have spent time getting my hair in a better condition (which was ruined by previous colouring at different salons) and i now travel from London to get my hair done here. Would definitely recommend!!!
